1. Website Purpose

This website introduces MID Japan, our natural diamonds, jewelry concepts, bespoke services, and private consultation experience.

Website content is provided for general information and presentation purposes. Unless expressly confirmed in a separate written agreement, information displayed on the website does not constitute a binding offer, guarantee, valuation, or professional investment advice.

Submitting an inquiry or consultation request does not create a purchase agreement or require MID Japan to accept an order.

2. Private Consultations

Private consultations may include discussions concerning:

• Natural diamond selection and sourcing
• Fancy-color and white diamonds
• Custom Fine Jewelry concepts
• Jewelry specifications and feasibility
• Design development and manufacturing
• Pricing, delivery expectations, and related services

Consultations are subject to availability and confirmation by MID Japan. We may request additional information before confirming an appointment or preparing a recommendation.

Any proposal, quotation, specification, estimated completion date, or service condition presented during a consultation remains subject to written confirmation.

3. Diamonds, Jewelry, and Availability

Diamonds and one-of-a-kind jewelry are subject to prior sale and may no longer be available when an inquiry is received.

Product availability, pricing, grading information, certification, measurements, and specifications will be confirmed individually. We reserve the right to correct errors or withdraw a product, proposal, or quotation before an order is accepted.

Where a diamond is accompanied by a grading report, the report is issued by the identified independent grading laboratory. MID Japan does not control the grading standards, procedures, or conclusions of an independent laboratory.

4. Product Images and Design Concepts

Photographs, videos, illustrations, renderings, and design concepts on the website are provided for presentation and consultation purposes.

Design concepts reflect the types of bespoke pieces MID Japan has developed or may develop with clients. Unless expressly identified as an available item, an image does not confirm that the displayed jewel or diamond is currently in stock.

The appearance of a diamond, gemstone, precious metal, or finished jewel may vary depending on lighting, photography, video processing, screen settings, manufacturing methods, stone characteristics, and viewing conditions.

Each bespoke jewel is created individually. Final proportions, stone selection, setting, dimensions, materials, and production feasibility may differ from the initial concept or reference image.

5. Custom Fine Jewelry Orders

Custom Fine Jewelry orders will be governed by a separate quotation, order confirmation, or written agreement specifying the approved design, materials, diamond or gemstone, price, payment schedule, estimated production period, delivery arrangements, and other applicable conditions.

Production may begin only after the required approval and payment have been received.

Changes requested after design approval or production has begun may affect the price and completion date. Certain changes may not be technically possible once manufacturing is underway.

Because bespoke and personalized jewelry is produced according to a client’s specifications, cancellation, return, or exchange rights may be restricted, subject to applicable Japanese law and the conditions disclosed before the order is confirmed.

6. Pricing and Payment

Website prices, when displayed, are for reference unless expressly stated otherwise. Final prices will be confirmed in writing.

Prices may be affected by diamond availability, international market conditions, exchange rates, precious-metal prices, design requirements, production costs, taxes, shipping, insurance, and import or customs charges.

Applicable Japanese consumption tax and any additional charges will be identified in the final quotation or order documentation.

Payment methods, deposits, balances, and payment deadlines will be stated in the relevant quotation, invoice, or purchase agreement. Ownership of a product may remain with MID Japan until full payment has been received, where permitted by law.

7. Delivery and Collection

Estimated production and delivery dates are provided in good faith but may change due to sourcing requirements, manufacturing complexity, certification, quality control, logistics, customs procedures, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Delivery, insured shipping, or showroom collection arrangements will be confirmed individually.

The client is responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information. Additional expenses resulting from incorrect or incomplete information may be charged to the client where appropriate.

8. Client Responsibilities

When contacting MID Japan or placing an order, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Inform us promptly of changes to your contact or delivery details
• Review product descriptions, designs, specifications, and quotations carefully
• Provide approvals and feedback within the requested timeframe
• Ensure that you have the right to provide any images, logos, designs, or other materials submitted to us
• Use our website and services only for lawful purposes

Delays in providing information, approvals, or payments may result in changes to the proposed schedule or price.

9. Investment and Value Disclaimer

Natural diamonds and fine jewelry may have personal, collectible, or long-term value. However, market prices and resale conditions can change.

MID Japan does not guarantee that a diamond or jewel will increase in value, retain its original purchase price, or achieve a particular resale result.

Information concerning rarity, market interest, collectability, or potential value is provided for general discussion and should not be treated as financial, tax, or investment advice. Clients should obtain independent professional advice when making a purchase primarily for investment purposes.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, trademarks, layouts, jewelry concepts, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to MID Japan unless otherwise stated.

You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, sell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from website content without prior written permission.

Submitting a reference image or design idea does not transfer ownership of third-party intellectual property to MID Japan.

Ownership and permitted use of bespoke design drawings, renderings, production files, and related materials will be determined by the relevant order agreement.

11. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, server, or connected systems
• Introduce viruses, malicious code, automated scraping tools, or disruptive technologies
• Interfere with the operation or security of the website
• Misrepresent your identity or relationship with another person or organization
• Copy or use our product imagery or design concepts for unauthorized commercial production
• Submit content that infringes another person’s rights

We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

12. Third-Party Websites and Services

These services are operated independently. MID Japan is not responsible for their availability, content, security, terms, or privacy practices. Accessing a third-party service is at your discretion and subject to that provider’s terms.

13. Website Availability

We aim to maintain a reliable and accurate website, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

We may update, modify, suspend, or remove website content or functionality without prior notice. We are not responsible for temporary unavailability caused by maintenance, technical issues, hosting interruptions, security incidents, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the website and its general content are provided on an "as available" basis.

MID Japan makes no guarantee that website content is complete, current, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Binding product specifications, prices, commitments, and warranties apply only when expressly confirmed in the relevant written quotation, order confirmation, or agreement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, obligation, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under Japanese law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MID Japan will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability resulting from MID Japan’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

For purchases and bespoke services, any applicable limitation of liability will also be governed by the relevant quotation, order confirmation, warranty terms, or separate agreement.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate MID Japan for reasonable losses, liabilities, and expenses arising directly from:

• Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the website
• Materials you provide that infringe third-party rights
• Fraudulent or deliberately misleading information
• Your material violation of these Terms

This provision does not limit any rights or protections available to consumers under applicable law.

17. Privacy

Personal information collected through this website is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

By submitting an inquiry or consultation request, you acknowledge that MID Japan may use the information provided to respond to you, arrange a consultation, prepare recommendations, and provide related services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

Any dispute arising from or relating to this website or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
